倫敦大學(xué)國(guó)王學(xué)院（King’s College London）王明珠博士應(yīng)邀管理與經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院于2014年8月20日下午在主樓418會(huì)議室作了主題為“Current Accounting Research”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。
王明珠博士首先介紹了倫敦大學(xué)國(guó)王學(xué)院的歷史和現(xiàn)狀，并說(shuō)明了英國(guó)的科研考核體系。然后，她結(jié)合自己近年來(lái)豐富的研究經(jīng)驗(yàn)，以她的若干代表性論文為例，介紹了學(xué)術(shù)論文的研究思路提煉、內(nèi)容展開、方法設(shè)計(jì)等大家感興趣的話題。最后，她對(duì)當(dāng)前國(guó)際上會(huì)計(jì)研究的熱點(diǎn)問(wèn)題進(jìn)行了總結(jié)，展望了未來(lái)具有潛力的研究方向，并對(duì)于這些方向在中國(guó)的發(fā)展提出了一些研究建議。
講座內(nèi)容豐富，對(duì)從事相關(guān)問(wèn)題研究的老師和研究生極具參考價(jià)值。講座在熱烈的討論中圓滿結(jié)束。
主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
Dr. Mingzhu Wang obtained her PhD in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She has been a tenured lecturer at King’s College London since 2010. Her research interests include financial reporting quality (e.g. abnormal accruals and accounting conservatism), voluntary disclosures, institutional investment, and corporate governance (e.g. board structure and gender diversity). Dr. Wang has published papers in Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Business Ethics, European Journal of Finance, Corporate Governance: an International Review, etc. Since 2009, she has been a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
