September 24, 2011 – BIT’s School of Management and Economics held its master’s degree ceremony at the Lecture Hall of BIT Main Teaching Building. SME faculty and 260 MBA, EMBA, MPA, Master of Engineering graduates and their families attended the ceremony. Vice Dean Professor Zhu Donghua chaired the ceremony.
The ceremony had begun with the majestic national anthem. Hou Guangming, Deputy Party Secretary of BIT, made the first remark to the presence of all graduates and expressed sincere congratulations and wishes that they had a successful career and happy family, and contributed to the country, the community, and their alma mater.
Zhang Yongsheng, Party Secretary of the North Engine Research Institute of China North Industries Group, and Yu Wenjun, Deputy Director of China Welfare Lottery Management Center, addressed to the graduates.
Dean Wei Yi-Ming also sent to all the graduates his sincere congratulations and best wishes.
MBA, EMBA, MPA, Master of Engineering graduates representatives donated gifts to the school on behalf of all graduate students. Student speaker Xiao Lu expressed their gratitude to the school and pledged to work hard in the future, make full use of the knowledge and live up to the school and teachers’ expectations.
In the end, Master Instructors for the graduates awarded diplomas, turned tassels, and granted degrees. The ceremony ended in cordial conversation between instructors and graduates.
